PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metatstable austenitic stainless steel strip for metal domes which has high strength and is improved in fatigue properties under high stress by improving the working history of a material. SOLUTION: This metastable austenitic stainless steel strip for the metal domes which is excellent in fatigue properties satisfies the next formulas (1), (2), when fatigue strengths to stress amplitudes in the parallel direction to rolling, perpendicular direction to the rolling and in the direction of 45°to the parallel direction to the rolling are respectively expressed byσparallel,σperpendicular andσ45°(MPa) in the case a fatigue test is performed with a sheet fatigue testing machine using pulleys.σperpendicular >450 (MPa) ...
