<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen sensor capable of enhancing the sealability between a detection element and the member for holding the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the oxygen sensor having a detection element 2 for detecting the concentration of oxygen, a holder 4 having an element insertion hole 3 in which the detection element 2 is inserted and the powder filling space 10 provided to the outer periphery of the element insertion hole 3 of the holder 4 and equipped with a seal part 5 for filling the powder filling space 10 with a compressed ceramic powder 12 to seal the space between the detection element 2 and the holder 4, the base of the powder filling space 10 receiving the load of the ceramic powder 12 is formed as an inclined surface 10a protruded toward an inner peripheral side from an outer peripheral side gradually in a load direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
