<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a retardation plate capable of manufacturing a retardation plate having a retardation film excellent in face flatness easily. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the retardation plate having the retardation film on a fixed substrate through adhesives, the retardation plate is manufactured by; a process which arranges a removing agent layer on the surface of a supporting substrate; a process which arranges the retardation film on the surface of the removing agent layer and thereafter performs the vacuum suction of the removing agent layer and the retardation film by performing deaeration processing of a boundary between the removing agent layer and the retardation film; a process which arranges adhesives on a surface of either of a fixed substrate or the retardation film; a process which bonds the fixed substrate and the retardation film through adhesives and forms structure in which the removing agent layer, the retardation film and the adhesives are held between the fixed substrate and the supporting substrate; and a process which separates the structure into two pieces of the supporting substrate with the removing agent layer and the retardation plate in which the retardation film is fixed on the fixed substrate through the adhesives. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
