<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DPF device with a safety function based on the result of experimental study by inventors while offering a method for controlling pressure in the DPF device to prevent the degradation of engine efficiency due to great back pressure on an engine body with the exhaust resistance of the DPF device. <P>SOLUTION: The DPF device with the safety function comprises a DPF body, an introduction part for introducing exhaust gas from an diesel engine into the DPF body, a bypass part for bypassing the exhaust gas from the introduction part, a pressure valve to be open/closed depending on exhaust pressure, and a spare filter to be conducted to the bypass part with the pressure valve. The introduction part has a first tubular introducing means, and the bypass part has a second tubular introducing means. An exhaust gas flux to be introduced into the opening face of the second tubular introducing means and an exhaust gas flux into the first tubular introducing means have the same direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
