<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stable power supply by optimizing a power supply mounted on a vehicle having an electric heating catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: In this power supply of the vehicle having the heater heating type electric heating catalyst 11 in the exhaust system of an engine, a starter motor 9 used only when the engine is initially started, the electric heating catalyst 11 interposed in the exhaust pipe 10 of the engine 3, and a power steering device 13 assisting the steering force of a steering 12 are connected, as loads requiring a large electric power, in 42 V wiring connected to a high-tension battery 2 with a large power supply capacity through relays RY1, RY2, and RY3, respectively. Thus, the stable power supply can be secured without affecting equipment on a low voltage battery 1 side by securing the startability of the engine while sufficiently heating the electric heating catalyst 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
