<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet reversing device with a simplified reverse delivery path relative to switch back, coping with high productivity and high reliability, and an image formation device. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet reversing device has a reverse path fed with sheets to be switched back, a plurality of branches branched in the middle of the reverse path, and a sheet reverse means installed downstream in the delivery direction from a branch position of the branch. The device conveys the sheets by switching a receiving speed for transferring the received sheets to a reversion stop position, a withdrawing speed set faster than the receiving speed, and a reversing speed for switching back the sheets from the reversion stop position and conveying them to the branch. The device has a plurality of withdrawing speeds according to delivery destinations of the switched-back sheets, and the withdrawing speed relative to the sheets switched back to at least one branch is made faster than the withdrawing speed relative to the sheets switched back to the branch on the downstream side of the reverse path from the branch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
