PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head capable of suppressing fluctuation of the discharge quantity to the minimum, even when the suction quantity is fluctuated. SOLUTION: This liquid discharge head 10A is equipped with a liquid passage 13A having a channel 13a inside, for holding liquid F in the channel 13a, and having a discharge hole 11 capable of discharging the liquid F from one end, and a piezoelectric element 15 for moving the liquid passage 13A. The liquid discharge head 10A for discharging the liquid F held in the liquid passage 13A by moving the liquid passage 13A by the piezoelectric element 15 is provided with a channel sectional area changing part C on the furthermore upstream side than the discharge hole 11 in the channel 13a.
