METHOD OF CREATING CAM DATA AND CAD/CAM SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT BOARD, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of creating CAM data for an electronic circuit board which can correctly and efficiently convert CAD data of a surface conductor into CAM data composed of plating windows of an exposure mask for pattern plating. SOLUTION: The plating windows are created while correcting the surface conductor in the direction of area expansion by an amount of correction which reflects an etching margin in an etching process. In the CAM data obtained by the correction, when via pads located at the peripheral edge of the surface conductor overhang the periphery of the surface conductor, an amount of the correction of the via pads at the time of converting the graphical information of the surface conductor into the graphical information of the plating windows is so adjusted as to reduce dimensions of the via pads to effectively prevent the overhanging of the via pads out of the surface conductor.
