PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating for a conductive film for a current collector which is superior in coating properties and film-forming characteristics at casting, and in the steam permeation resistance of a conductive film obtained by film-forming. SOLUTION: This coating which contains a hydrogenated vinyl aromatics-conjugate diene block copolymer and/or an equivalent product thereof, a conductive material, an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, and at least one kind of a solvent selected from a group composed of a ketone based solvent, an ester based solvent, and an ether based solvent, and in which the coating is within a range wherein the rate of the content of a polymer unit derived from aromatic vinyl-conjugated diene block copolymer hydrogenated product and/or aromatic vinyl in its equivalent, the rate of the content of a unit derived from a 1,4-coupled polymer unit of conjugated diene, and the rate of the content of a unit derived from a 1,2-coupled polymer unit of the conjugated diene or a 3,4-coupled polymer unit are (10 to 45), (15 to 45) and (30 to 65), respectively.
