<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp control device capable of matching the timing at which a person wishes to turn on/turn off a lamp with the timing at which the lamp is turned on/turned off through the automatic control. <P>SOLUTION: The lamp control device comprises an illuminance detection means 3 which detects illuminance to output illuminance information, a storage unit 2 to store the reference illuminance to change ON/OFF of a lamp 6, and a control unit 1 to automatically change ON/OFF of the lamp according to illuminance information, the reference illuminance and the ON/OFF state of the lamp 6, and further comprises a change instruction input unit 5 to instruct the change of ON/OFF of the lamp 6.
