PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device with which blade cleaning can be performed even with a small grain size toner. SOLUTION: The image forming device 100 equipped with at least a photoreceptor 1 for forming an electrostatic latent image and a cleaning means 7 having a cleaning blade 7a for removing the toner on the photoreceptor 1 satisfies the relation of formula (1): 0.10≤Dm3/V≤3.41 when the weight average grain size of the toner is defined as Dm (μm) and the peripheral speed of an image carrier of the image forming device as V (mm/sec). The average value Tave. for 15 seconds of the rotating torque T (kgf cm) of the image carrier when the cleaning blade is made to abut on the image carrier satisfies the relation of formula (2): Tave.≤1.40 (kgf cm).
