PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump of high reliability driven by the electric motor. SOLUTION: The oil pump is electrically driven, and oil fed out from the oil pump is allowed to partly flow in a rotor and a stator of the electric motor for driving the pump. An oil flow path from the oil pump to the rotor is ensured, and a flow path is provided inside a rotor circumferentially and axially extended for feeding the oil. The fed oil is discharged from the rotor to pass through the circumference of a stator winding to be discharged to outside the electric motor. On this occasion, a further amount of oil is supplied from an upper part of the motor, and discharged from under the motor together with the oil discharged from the rotor. In this way, by cooling the electric motor by the oil, the oil pump of high reliability can be tendered. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
