PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor easily adjusting the arrangement position of a lens array. SOLUTION: The image sensor is provided with: a sensor board 1 on the upper side of which many light receiving elements are arranged; a pair of side plates 3S for clipping a plurality of lenses and a lens 3L from both sides; the lens array 3 arranged on the light receiving elements; a lens holder 4 for containing the lens array 3 and to an upper side and a lower side of which an aperture is provided; and a housing 5 for containing the sensor board 1 and the lens holder 4 and supporting the lens holder 4 by its side face and its lower side. A first adjustment screw 7A for pressing the side face of the lens array 3 is provided to the side face of the lens holder 4, a second adjustment screw 7B for pressing the lower side of the lens array 3 is provided to the lower side of the lens holder 4 respectively. The first and second adjustment screws support the lens array 3 in the lens holder 4, and a third adjustment screw 7C for pressing the lower side of the lens holder 4 is provided to the lower side of the housing 5 to support the lens holder 4.
