PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave absorber which is lighter in weight than a conventional wave absorber, high in microwave and milliwave absorption properties, and has incombustibility. SOLUTION: In the wave absorber in which a dielectric layer 2 is laminated on one side or both sides of a wave reflector layer 4, the dielectric layer is formed of foamed structure ceramics porous body mainly composed of TiO<SB>2</SB>. The main component material contained in a frame of the dielectric layer is 50 vol% or more, and the porosity of the dielectric layer is 50 to 95%. A photocatalyst layer is laminated on the front surface of the dielectric layer. The photocatalyst layer has a visible light photocatalyst property. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
