PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is necessary to effectively use memory capacity and to reduce power consumption and display on a screen may become difficult to see depending on a way of controlling power supply in the case of using a nonvolatile display means such as electronic paper. SOLUTION: In this display device, when development/transfer of a display image is started, a memory for development to develop one screen at a state of displaying is acquired from a RAM. An object is developed and at the time that the object for one screen is developed, power is supplied to a display part according to a power management part and count of time until the display image is stabilized is started. The display image is transferred and at the time that sufficient time elapses until the display image is stabilized, succeeding processing is started.
