PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new arylamine polymer which has excellent emission characteristics and durability, and is useful as a polymer material for an organic EL element, and is a charge transportabile polymer material for an organic transistor. SOLUTION: This polymer comprises a repeating unit represented by formula (1) (wherein Ar<SP>1</SP>is a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group; Ar<SP>2</SP>and Ar<SP>3</SP>are each independently a divalent substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group; and Ar<SP>4</SP>is a divalent substituted or unsubstituted benzene, thiophene, biphenyl, fluorene, or anthracene group).
