PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit in a roller conveyor facility in which constitution of a control part is simplified and cost-reduced, and in which holding zones can be easily adjusted. SOLUTION: In a roller conveyor 1 comprising a plurality of holding zones Z for luggage provided in a carrying direction, this control unit 31 is provided to each holding zone to control a solenoid for actuating a cylinder device so as to drive a carrying roller in each holding zone. It is provided with a photoelectric switch 61 to detect if luggage exists or not in the holding zone Z, a first switch means 63 and a second switch means 64 to respectively output drive signals to solenoids 25a at the holding zone and a holding zone upstream of it, and an external drive switch means 66 to output a forced drive signal to the solenoid 25a at the holding zone on the upstream side separately from the drive signal from the second switch means 64 when the solenoid is actuated.
