PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of preventing paper from sticking and jamming to a sorting member, when the paper that is thick and curling downward at a tip end portion is fed. SOLUTION: The paper feeding device comprises an adsorption carrying means 2 adsorbing the uppermost paper in the paper stacked on a paper feeding stand 3 and carrying that from an upstream side to a downstream side in a carrying direction; an air blowing means blowing air toward a downstream side tip end portion of the stacked paper; a separating member 8 allowing only the uppermost paper carried by the adsorption carrying means to pass through; a lower guide portion 71 extending from an upper edge 311 to the downstream side of a downstream side guide wall 3 of the paper feeding stand on which the tip end portions of the stacked paper abut; and an upper guide portion 72 disposed so as to oppose to the lower guide portion 71 from an upper side, and coming close to the lower guide portion toward the downstream side and having a predetermined interval from the lower guide portion.
