PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device for a vehicle capable of performing the optimum display in response to attribute, content and kind of the display information and liking of a user while suppressing large size of the whole display area. SOLUTION: The information display device for the vehicle is provided with a meter device (first display means) for displaying a first display image 17; a multi-display (second display means) 2 for displaying a second display image 24; and a control means 110 for controlling action of the meter device 1 and the multi-display 2 and displays the first and second display images 17, 24 in a predetermined display area 5. The control means 110 is constituted such that change switching processing for interlocking with change of display mode of the second display image 24 (enlargement and contraction of display range 25) to switch the display mode of the first display image 17 is performed.
