A projection screen (5) is mounted on a roller (4) inside a picture frame (6) hung onto any suitable wall or other mounting. When not required for projection the screen is rolled up displaying a picture or a text as required. This enables the screen system to fit into the decor of the room and to be instantly available for projection. The frame can be provided with integral lighting for enhanced effect.
