<p>A tire molding system having no possibility of prolonging the tact time for tire molding, not requiring a special installation space for endless circulation travel of a molding carriage, and having no danger of increasing noise and vibration or of early deterioration of carriage positioning accuracy. A tire molding system comprising work stations for assembling tire components on a molding drum, a molding carriage supporting the molding drum to move it to the respective work stations, and carriage guide means for guiding the movement of the molding carriage in a predetermined path, wherein the carriage guide means includes wheels disposed on two inner and outer endless rails and on the molding carriage and adapted to roll on the opposite side surfaces of the endless rails so as to regulate the carriage position in a direction orthogonal to the direction of extension of the endless rails, each endless rail being composed of a linear portion and an arcuate portion, the two portions being smoothly connected, the rail width (W) of the arcuate portion being narrower than the rail width of the linear portion.</p> |
