Disclosed is an electric submarine drive motor (1) comprising a rotor (4) and at least two sensors (10, 11) for detecting the angle of rotation and/or the rotational speed of the rotor and generating corresponding signal data for a regulating device (7) of the drive motor (1). The aim of the invention is to make the data concerning the angle of rotation and the rotational speed readily available. Said aim is achieved by placing at least two of the sensors (10, 11) in such a way that at least one of the two sensors (10, 11) remains functional when locally limited external disturbing influences (20 or 21) act upon the drive motor (1).
