<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximally secure a remaining amount of hot water of a hot water storage tank, and to prevent hot water storage by carrying out maximum heating amount control by a heat pump circuit during parallel operation with the hot water storage tank. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump water heater is provided with a heat pump cycle 100 wherein a compressor 101, a heat exchanger 102 for hot water supply, an expansion valve 104, and an evaporator 105 are connected by a piping, and the hot water storage tank 120 storing a heated liquid. Since a maximum heating amount control means 163 is provided for carrying out control such that a heating amount of the heat pump cycle 100 is maximized, and since the heat pump circuit carries out the maximum heating amount control during the parallel operation with the hot water storage tank, the remaining amount of the hot water of the hot water storage tank can be maximally secured, and hot water storage can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
