<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rear part of a vehicle from being lowered by starting an engine after a brake operation is performed. <P>SOLUTION: This hybrid vehicle controller comprises a drive motor 2 in a torque transmission route from the engine 1 to drive wheels 54RR and 54RL.
