<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire-condition detector 1 and a tire-condition monitoring system, capable of restraining the radio waves transmitted from a transmission part from being attenuated by a tire and a wheel, as compared with prior art, and to provide a method of attaching the tire-condition detector 1 to the wheel. <P>SOLUTION: The tire-condition detector 1 is constituted to be provided with a case 3, having an insertion part 5 inserted into a hole 13 provided in a rim 12 and a case body 4, and a sensor and the transmission part stored in the case body 4. The tire-condition detector 1 is attached to the rim 12, by inserting the insertion part 5 of the case 3 into the hole 13 provided in the rim 12 from an inner side of the rim 12 so as to arrange the case body 4 of the tire condition detector 1 in the inside of the rim 12, i.e. in the side opposite to an air chamber 15 side of the tire 14 in the rim 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
