PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking oil strainer which removes impurity contained in a used cooking oil, and suitably makes the cooking oil reusable by reducing the oxidized cooking oil. SOLUTION: A first strainer section 20 is provided on the upper opening section, and a second strainer section 30 is provided on the lower opening section of a first container 40. The first container 40 is mounted on a second container 50, and the second container 50 houses the cooking oil which has been strained by the first container 40, and at the same time, houses an oxidation inhibitor 60 which prevents the cooking oil from being oxidized. This cooking oil strainer 10 is equipped with the first container 40 and the second container 50. The oxidation inhibitor 60 is housed in a cartridge 70 being formed into a container shape for which a communication hole communicating between the inside and the outside is provided, and having a leg section 74 which radially extends from the external surface of the container to the outside. The cartridge 70 is detachably fitted on the second container 50 in such a manner that the leg section 74 elastically presses the internal wall surface 50a of the second container 50.
