<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline developer solution capable of suppressing occurrence of development scum due to components of an FM screen image recording layer, and to provide a method for making a lithographic printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: A lithographic printing plate precursor is imagewise exposed with an FM screen or a high-definition AM screen and developed with the above alkaline developer solution containing at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of anionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants, and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of acetylene glycols and acetylene alcohols. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
