PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste incinerator capable of restricting the generation of dioxin in the exhaust gas by efficiently burning combustible gas within a secondary combustion area. SOLUTION: A shock wave generating device 31 is provided to radiate a shock wave to the secondary combustion area 17 of the waste incinerator 30. A plurality of shock wave radiation openings 32 are desirably provided in nearly same height positions of a furnace-inside wall in the secondary combustion area 17. As the shock wave generating device 31, a device for generating a shock wave with roaring or convergent roaring or a device for generating a shock wave by instantaneously releasing high-pressure gas is desirable.
