PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan convector capable of supplying a sufficient quantity of minus ion into a room and capable of reducing cost and preventing the generation of noise. SOLUTION: A blowing fan 7 is structured of a cross-flow fan formed of a plurality of support plates 7a and a plurality of blades 7b, and a minus ion generating material is coated on the blades 7b or kneaded into the blades 7b, which rotate at high speed, to increase friction force between the minus ion generating material and air to generate minus ion with the friction force, and minus ion is supplied into the room. In comparison with an ion generating device using a discharging electrode, cost is reduced, and the generation of noise in relation to other electric parts can be prevented.
