PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air defense system capable of improving interception performance by quickly coping with an arriving interception target. SOLUTION: A user is allowed to set freely an area in which the interception target is likely to appear using the area as the high priority area by utilizing three-dimensional display information (screen) using a digital map. When the high priority area is set, the area is searched by a radar 11c by placing emphasis on the area to find the interception target at an earliest stage. When the target appears in the high priority area, an interception sequence can be started assuming the appearance of this target as already predicted to intercept the target by time (calculation processing) shorter than the conventional interception sequence.
