PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device to be constructed at a lower cost than a laminated rubber base isolation, having good durability, and assuring a high base isolation performance. SOLUTION: The base isolation structure to guarantee flexibility of the area between a structure 1 to be base isolated and a structure 2 supporting the structure to be base isolated is configured with a base isolation/sliding bearing formed from a sliding surface part 3, a restoring device D formed from gravitational force restitution or a spring etc., a drawout preventive device C to make preclusion against a drawout force due to a seismic force, wind, etc. and a fixing pin device F to prevent swinging with wind.
