PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire vulcanizing method capable of always applying proper quantity of heat to the predetermined region of a tire, and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: Since an inner mold 11 formed along the shape of the inner surface of a tire 1 is formed so that the wall thickness of the part corresponding to the predetermined region of the tire 1 is made different from that of the part corresponding to the other region of the tire 1, the quantity of heat applied to the tire 1 from the part large in wall thickness of the inner mold 11 is increased while the quantity of heat applied to the tire 1 from the part reduced in the wall thickness of the inner mold 11 can be reduced. Therefore, proper quantity of heat can be always applied to each region of the tire 1 by forming each region of the tire 1 in arbitrary wall thickness and the excess and deficiency of vulcanization in each region of the tire 1 can be eliminated effectively.
