摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial gap quantity measuring apparatus for a multi-point contact ball bearing that precisely measures the axial gap quantity of a multi-point contact ball bearing, where either the outer bearing ring or the inner bearing ring is divided to two parts at the center of a rolling element track groove, without requiring much time, labor, or the like. SOLUTION: The axial gap quantity measuring apparatus comprises an apparatus body 21, a constant-pressure fluid feed means 22 for feeding a constant-pressure fluid to the apparatus body 21, and an air micrometer 23 for measuring the axial gap quantity of the multi-point contact ball bearing 9A from the flow fluctuations of the constant-pressure fluid fed to the apparatus body 21. The apparatus body 21 is constituted of a first gap quantity measuring member 24 having a concave 26 on the upper surface thereof fitted to the external surface of the multi-point contact ball bearing 9A, and a second gap quantity measuring member 25, having a concave 27 which is engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the ball bearing 9A on the lower surface which faces the upper surface of the first gap quantity measuring member 24.
