PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washable and reusable filter material for a roll filter moldable into a roll body with a roll diameter mountable in a container part of an automatically winding type air filter having a length equal to conventional one, and its production method. SOLUTION: This filter material is formed by sequentially fixing composition fiber of synthetic fiber-made nonwoven fabric formed by mixing composite fibers of a low melting point part, the nonwoven fabric and victoria lawn arranged thereunder, with urethane resin with a low melting point part melted and hardened and impregnated urethane resin, and urethane resin or vinyl chloride-based resin, scattered from the victoria lawn side.
