<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording composition which is stable both chemically and physically and develops color thermally from a light color to a black or brown one and a thermal recording method which records a high-contrast black image by heating. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording composition which contains phosphonic acid cobalt having an aromatic ring and a carrier, the thermal recording method wherein recording is made by heating on the surface of a molded matter prepared by molding the thermal recording composition, and the thermal recording method wherein recording is made by heating on a thermal recording material having on a base a thermally color developing layer constituted of the thermal recording composition, are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
