CAVEOLIN ANTIGEN AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caveolin-measuring system which can simply measure caveolin in a short time.

SOLUTION: The caveolin-measuring system comprises massively expressing the connection product of a partial polypeptide (caveolin mutant) containing the N-terminal of caveolin to a fusion protein such as glutathione-S-transferase in a host, separating and purifying the connection product, and then measuring the caveolin by an ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) competition method using the obtained caveolin mutant-fusion protein connection product. Thereby, the caveolin can simply be detected in a short time.
