<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit for a display apparatus capable of controlling power consumption according to a required function. <P>SOLUTION: The driving circuit includes an operational amplifier OP capable of controlling operation which amplifies a reference voltage with a gain of approximately 1. An input of the operational amplifier OP is connected to a reference voltage holding circuit and the reference voltage holding circuit is connected to an input terminal IN in which the reference voltage is selected via a switch S1. An output of the operational amplifier OP is connected to an output terminal OUT. Furthermore, the input terminal IN is connected to the output terminal OUT via a switch S2.
