<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club characteristic measuring instrument having a simple structure and capable of measuring the weight, the balance and the natural frequency of a golf club by a single instrument. <P>SOLUTION: This measuring instrument is so formed that one end side of a working plate is attached to a load cell disposed on a base via a fulcrum, a fixing clamp member of a clamper is mounted to the other end side of the working plate via a soft and elastic member, and the working plate is supported to a support-releasable support member in a predetermined reference position of the working plate. The weight of the golf club is measured, in a state where the support of the working plate by the support member is released, by an output signal of the load cell, the balance of the golf club is measured, in a state where the working plate is supported to the support member, by the output signal of the load cell, and the natural frequency of the golf club is measured, in a state where a vibration is applied to the shaft of the golf club with the golf club held with the hand and the vibration is transmitted to the working plate via the soft, by the output signal of the load cell by the vibration of the working plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
