<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of remarkably improving a savor of a game. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine comprises a game board whose game area is constituted of a transmissive member, a start device for variably displaying two or more pieces of identification information, a display means provided with a display area where a plurality of variable display areas for variably displaying the two or more pieces of identification information can be set and disposed behind the game board so as to be overlapped with the game area, and a display control means for executing control for the variable display of the two or more pieces of identification information, and is constituted so as to shift to a game state advantageous to a player after the two or more pieces of identification information are stopped and displayed in a prescribed combination. The display control means can display a frame image on the inner side of which the two or more pieces of identification information are to be arranged and also enlarge or reduce and display the frame image.
