<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing tool with which the preservation work of a sample can surely and simply performed while the viability of the sample is retained after the sample is molten in the long term preservation of the sample. <P>SOLUTION: This freezing tool 1 has the tool body of a straight line form 2 and a hold part 3 that is formed in an inclined flat face and is attached to one end of the tool body 2. In the freezing tool, since the hold part 3 of the inclined flat face is arranged to one end of the tool body and the tool part 2 is inclined downward, the flat face of the hold part 3 may become horizontal. While the situation of the downward-inclined tool body 2 is retained, then a biological sample coated with a freezing solution is dropped on the hold part and immersed in a freezing substance whereby the biological sample can be vitrified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
