<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric toothbrush preventing the occurrence of trouble even if the reciprocating movement of a brush body is forcedly suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: This electric toothbrush is so formed that a connecting member 26a of an arm 26 is energized in the direction of an elastic member 31 by a coiled spring 32 to make the connecting member 26a abut on the elastic member 31.
