PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device capable of reducing cost by using in common a printing plate of a fixed electrode forming a sliding route. SOLUTION: In this liquid level detection device, the fixed electrode 3 comprising a conductive material wherein a sliding contact 5 is slid by fluctuation of the liquid level and a resistor 4 connected to the fixed electrode 3 by a plurality of reeds 3a are provided on an insulating substrate 2, and the fixed electrode 3 between the plurality of reeds 3a is cut by laser trimming, and thereby the divided fixed electrode 3 corresponding to each of the plurality of reeds 3a is provided.
