PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a loss time required for maintenance services by preventing a plurality of the rounds of maintenance operations from being executed in a short time, in an inkjet recording device capable of supplying a plurality of the kinds of inks to a plurality of recording element substrates. SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording device, it is judged whether the maintenance services of one recording element substrate should be performed considering the prevailing state of this substrate up to the establishment of its maintenance conditions, when the conditions for the execution of the maintenance services to the other recording element substrate are already established.
