PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage which perfectly blocks the transmission of vibration during movement and a storage device equipped with the carriage. SOLUTION: In the carriage 153, loaded with a recording head 152 and coupled with a movement means 156, which reciprocally moves across a recording area by the movement means to record by the recording head, a connecting portion 32 between the mounting portion 31 of the recording head and the movement means is split, the mounting portion and the connecting portion are connected by a connecting means 33 having a linear elastic member 33A. Consequently, since vibration from the movement means is blocked by the split portions and not transmitted to the mounting portion of the recording head, a high recording precision of the recording head can be maintained.
