PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing equipment which can designate a print image without separately providing a display part for use in only the designation of the print image. SOLUTION: In the performance of index print associated with a plurality of images stored in a memory card, each index image 7 is arranged in an index print part 56 arranges in the same manner as a light emitting element 10 is arranged. When a user selects a light emission pattern of the light-emitting element 10 by referring to an index sheet 6, an image designating part 52 designates an image, designated by the selected light-emission pattern, as the print image.
