<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of facilitating an access to a process cartridge and having a door through which the process cartridge is easily attached/detached. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a door unit 2 which is disposed on the side of an image forming apparatus body 100 and is opened or closed when the process cartridge 1 is attached or detached; an ejection loading part 8 which is disposed on the apparatus body 100 and on which sheets P ejected from the ejecting part 5 of the apparatus body 100 are loaded; and an ejection tray 7 which is disposed downstream of the ejection stacking part 8 in the direction of the sheet conveyance and supports at least part of the sheet. The door unit 9 includes: a side part 2a composing a part of the side of the apparatus body; a top part 2b composing a part of the top of the apparatus body; and a bending part connecting the side part 2a to the top part 2b. The ejection tray 7 is supported by the top part 2b so that its angle can be varied to the face on which device body is installed, such that the sheet P becomes higher than the top part 2b as the sheet P is conveyed downstream. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
