<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a function, when a plurality of display devices are connected and used, higher than a case of using a single display device. <P>SOLUTION: If a control signal is outputted from a remote control apparatus, reception strengths of control signals received in a plurality of display means are detected (steps S221 and S222). A display means wherein a maximum reception strength is then obtained, is determined from the detected reception strength of the plurality of display means (steps S223 and S224). Processing corresponding to the control signal is then performed on the display means discriminated as a display means obtaining the maximum reception strength among the plurality of display means (step S225 or S226).
