<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating foreign matter from raw laver, by pressurizing a mixture of the raw laver and water, supplying and feeding a pressurized chamber with the mixture, and separating the foreign matter therefrom with a circular clearance formed between a peripheral wall of a rotary disc and a circular opening. <P>SOLUTION: This method for separating the foreign matter from the raw laver comprises pressurizing the liquid mixture of the raw laver and the water, and then squeezing the liquid mixture through the circular clearance which is formed between the outer peripheral wall of the rotary disc and an opening wall of the circular opening, by freely coupling the rotary disc with the circular opening positioned in a tank wall, so that the foreign matter contained in the liquid mixture is separated from the raw laver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
