<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking information retrieval system capable of retrieving information for cooking and determining storage positions of cooking utensils necessary for cooking and immediately performing cooking. <P>SOLUTION: In the cooking information retrieval system, retrieving condition data are taken in with a cooking retrieving condition input section 1, the retrieving condition data are transmitted to an information processing integration section 4, and the information processing integration section 4 reads the retrieving condition data. The information processing integration section 4 extracts data coincident with the retrieving condition data from a cooking recipe memory section 6, and reads cooking recipe information. The cooking recipe information read out from the cooking recipe memory section 6 is compensated in a cooking recipe information compensation section 5 as the need arises, and is read into the information processing integration section 4. The information processing integration section 4 outputs cooking utensil data included in cooking recipe information to a cooking utensil memory section 7, and extracts data coincident with cooking utensil data from the cooking utensil memory section 7, and obtains storage position information of the cooking utensils.
