<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for raising light absorption by a targeted skin structural body. <P>SOLUTION: A vacuum chamber having a transparent transmission element capable of passing high intensity pulse light on the proximal end and an opening on the distal end is placed on a skin target. After vacuum is applied to the vacuum chamber and the vacuum is adjusted, concentration of blood and/or blood vessel increases within prescribed depth from the skin surface of the skin target. Light energy associated with light directed in a direction substantially vertical against the skin surface neighboring the skin target is absorbed within prescribed depth. By this device, a blood vessel lesion is cured by a smaller therapy energy density level and less pain feeling than that of a device by conventional technique and is suitable for exhausting condensed steam generated when cooling the skin before projecting light in a controlled delay time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
